Neckar is double fumed to produce a dark, rich brown floor so regardless of the finish applied to these unfinished oak herringbone blocks, the colour will run through the wear layer of each block. We used the best quality nature grade European oak to make these blocks that are guaranteed to last for decades. Nature grade oak includes a broad range of natural characteristics, such as knots, sap and colour variation. Neckar herringbone blocks are available in 500x100x20mm and 280x70x20mm. Both have a smooth finish where the blocks are carefully sanded to achieve a sleek, uniform look. The 20mm thickness ensures that this floor can be re-sanded many times if necessary, and FSC certification makes it a solid environmental choice. Neckar blocks are suitable for underfloor heating systems, but we do not recommend using them as wall cladding.
